Ashampoo Burning Studio 2013 is a popular disc burning software offering fast burning to CD, DVD, and Blu-ray discs as well as a number of interesting capabilities. All of the functions are grouped under nine main menus which not only lets you burn both data and media to all kinds of optical media but also erase contents of rewriteable discs and create covers, labels, and booklets.
A single license of Ashampoo Burning Studio 2013 is normally available for purchase at $39.99. Fortunately, there is always a promo that lets you grab this software for free. This time there is another opportunity for you to get a free license for this 2013 version. Thanks to ComputerActive. It is indeed not the latest version (v11.05)–the latest one is Ashampoo Burning Studio 12–but it is still a nice one to have.

Updates: Giveaway page
Go to the giveaway page (EXPIRED) and hit the “Free download” button to download the full installer. Note that there is no information as to when this giveaway ends so go grab it now before it is too late.
Install the program after the download is finished. In the middle of the installation you should find a window like below.
Click on “Get free activation key” button to open the registration page. The page can be directly accessed from here if you want to. As you can see, it requires a valid email address to get the free key.
If the email address that you provide has been registered, you will be asked to login to your Ashampoo account. If not, then you have to create a new account.
Note that the installer includes Ashampoo toolbar and it also tries to change your default home and search pages to MyAshampoo, so make sure to choose the custom installation and clear all of the check boxes to prevent it.
Another important thing that you should know is that they will send you emails every now and then asking you to upgrade the program to the latest version. Even though you can easily unsubscribe yourself from the newsletter, it is a good idea to not using your regular email address.
